What is Maca for?

Maca has been used for health purposes for hundreds of years. It grows in the Andes mountains of Peru where it has been used for generations as a stimulant and a fertility booster. It is sometimes referred to as Peruvian ginseng and contains significant amounts of amino acids, carbohydrates, and minerals including calcium, phosphorous, zinc, magnesium, iron, as well as vitamins B1, B2, B12, C and E.
